Thixotropic Additive
Anti-Sag and thickening additive for epoxy resins & Stonelith. Take control of the resin flow. Stop runs and sagging on vertical coats, whether you are working with Nerpa Coating Epoxy or Stonelith.
What it is & how it works
This solvent-free, fine mineral powder thickens your mix at rest (so it stays put), but becomes easier to brush/roll while you are working. Once you stop moving it, it “rebounds” quickly to resist drips, sags, and settling.
Why makers choose it
- Anti-sag control for vertical and edge coats
- DIY gelcoat preparation with epoxies
- Dense, fast-mixing powder (typically less dusty and easier to handle than fluffy thickeners like fumed silica)
- Solvent-free (no heat or solvents needed to activate)
- Helps you keep a smooth, workable finish while improving hold
