Shipping policy
ORDER PROCESSING
Our orders are usually processed and shipped within 1-3 business days of submission. We do not work on Saturdays and Sundays; if orders are placed during the weekend, we will process them on the next business day.
SHIPPING TO PO BOXES
We do not ship to PO boxes addresses.
SHIPPING WITHIN CANADA
We offer free shipping within Canada on orders over $40 in value Orders less than $40 will be subject to a $15 processing and shipping flat fee.
SHIPPING TO THE USA
We use calculated shipping rates at checkout to determine the shipping cost to 48 USA states. We offer free shipping to the USA on orders over $400 (Conditions apply: weight-based under 100kg). You are responsible for duties, but we are implementing a feature to estimate duties at the checkout for a stress-free shopping experience.
USMCA/CUSMA duty-free for U.S. customers
Most Nerpa products are made in Canada. The exception is powdered type pigments. When a product qualifies as an “originating good” under the Canada–U.S.–Mexico Agreement (CUSMA/USMCA), it is eligible to enter the United States duty-free. For qualifying orders we provide a USMCA certification of origin. While USMCA eliminates U.S. customs duties, other import charges (e.g., brokerage or U.S. Customs’ processing fees) may still apply. If duty is assessed in error on a qualifying shipment, contact us and we will help you request a correction.
Taxes, Duties, and customs charges may be applied to your package as it arrives at the border. We do not control this amount, but since we properly declare the package, it may acquire an extra charge along the way. If the package is rejected upon delivery due to accumulated duties and taxes to your destination, you will not be eligible for a refund.
SHIPPING TO EUROPE
We currently do not ship our product to Europe, but we are implementing this option. Stay tuned!
Lost parcels
We open an investigation with the shipping carrier and wait at least five business days to give a chance for the investigation team to locate the package and deliver it to the customer. If this does not happen within five business days, we process the replacement item or the refund.
Shipping delays
Sometimes delays happen. We make sure to ship the package in the shortest amount of time possible, but we cannot control the way the shipping carrier operates. Shipping delays are not eligible for a refund. If the shipping delays result in the loss of packages, then we process and ship the replacement item.
The package is shown as "delivered" but can't be found anywhere.
Nerpa Polymers is not responsible for loss or theft of the package if the status of the shipment is shown as "delivered." We encourage you to contact us via info@nerpa.ca so we can file an investigation claim with the shipping carrier. We also advise you to contact local authorities to start an investigation of the stolen package.
